6 - 7 High
- A UV Index reading of 6 to 7 means high risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure.
Protection against skin and eye damage is needed for everyone.
Keep in the shade as much as possible. When in the sun it is sensible to
cover up and wear a wide-brimmed hat.
Wear UV-blocking sunglasses, you want to look cool and your
eyesight is precious. SO PROTECT IT.
Generously apply broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen every 2 hours and after swimming or sweating.
Keep well hydrated. That means drinking water, not alcohol.
